Please join us for an informal conversation between Rosslynd Piggott and Andrew Browne, on the final day of Piggott’s exhibition ‘Everbloom: and an extract of rose’ at Bus Projects.

This project coincides with the solo exhibition ‘Mirror shift (doubled)’ at Sutton Gallery, which runs until the 2nd of September, 2017.

Rosslynd Piggott’s work has received wide acclaim, having been represented in over 50 important solo exhibitions and numerous curated events both nationally and internationally. Major presentations include the solo show ‘Suspended Breath’ at The National Gallery of Victoria in 1998, ‘Trace’, the inaugural Liverpool Biennial 1999, ‘Extract: in 3 parts’ at Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in 2008, ‘Shelter’ 2006- 2010 as part of ‘Songs of Survival: Beauty in a Precarious Age’, Biennial of Sydney 2010, ‘Dividing Infinity: A Room for Painting’, TarraWarra Museum of Art, 2011 and ‘Murmur’, 2013 at The Johnston Collection.

Rosslynd Piggott is represented by Sutton Gallery, Melbourne.

Andrew Browne has exhibited at numerous dealer and public galleries for over three decades. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘Six Intaglios’ at the Australian Print Workshop (2013), ‘Suddenly Slowly’ at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne (2016), ‘In between Days’ at Tolarno Galleries, Melbourne (2016) and ‘Begins to collapse’ at Bus Projects, Melbourne. His work is currently included in ‘Every Brilliant Eye: Australian Art of 1990s’, NGV Australia, and the ‘Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize’, Bendigo Art Gallery.

Andrew Browne is represented by Tolarno Galleries, Melbourne.
